Connect
The best way to connect with other members and make friends at Trinity Lutheran Church is to involve yourself in our activities and groups.
There are many ways to connect and become involved:
- Home groups are safe places where close friendships form around personal sharing and support, Bible study, serving others, and prayer.
- Music groups – if you play an instrument or like to sing, you are welcome to join one of the groups that support our worship.
- Serve the community – working bees, working in local aged care and hospices, school tutoring support; shopping, and lawn mowing or gardening for those unable to do it for themselves.
- Join a roster for worship support as a steward, greeter, data projector operator, sound desk operator, COVID sanitation crew member, or servitor.
- Join a team to help organise one of our social events.
- Become a member of our pastoral care team.
- Help out in children’s or youth ministry.
- Participate in prayer ministry.
- Come along to a workshop or study session on spirituality, theology, discipleship, or another topic.
- Nominate as a member of our church council.
- Watch and listen for when someone asks for help in doing, completing, or organising something. (This happens quite a lot.)
- Look for someone standing alone and say hello to them.
