What is the most memorable way someone has shown that they loved you? Surprise visit by my sister and her family for my 50th birthday, then a surprise arrival at the airport by my niece and God-daughter for my 60th Birthday. AND a mystery flight to Sydney orchestrated by Kevin to share in the “proposal” to our daughter Anisia by her husband-to-be Nathan.
Has your Christian journey been a gift? A hard slog? Life changing? A work in progress? Undoubtedly a gift. Faith is a gift. It is something that is not only tattooed on my arm but in my heart. It’s the perpetual gift then that I seek to pass onto my children, and a reminder that no matter how hard I try to do it on my own, Jesus is there every step of the way. It has been the latter three also……I experienced a wilderness experience like Jesus, more than 40 days but not 40 years like the Israelites. The Christian journey is life-changing, a renewing of the mind, a reminder not to conform to the standards of this world. It’s challenging also, but through those challenges we grow, and we know that Heaven will be our eternal resting place.
